Szokolya

Concert location: Calvinist Church (5 Mányoki Street)

By car take Road 12 that runs along the northern side of the Danube Bend (from Budapest, first take Road 2 or M2, then, after Vác take Road 12) and turn left at Kismaros towards Szokolya. The steeple of the Calvinist Church can be clearly seen from a distance. By train you can get to the village on the Budapest—Vác—Szob—Stúrovo railway line as far as Kismaros and then take a bus or forest railway to Szokolya. You can get to the village on the Vác—Balassagyarmat railway line too, which has a station in a forest valley next to the village, from where you can reach the village and the Calvinist Church within a 45-minute pleasant walk.

Berkenye

Concert location: Catholic Church (44 Kossuth Street)

By car take Road 2, turn left towards Nógrád and then to Berkenye. By train, take the Vác—Balassagyarmat line as far as Berkenye. From the railway station the church can be reached within a short walk.

Nógrád

By car take Road 2 and then turn left to Nógrád. By train, take the Vác—Balassagyarmat line as far as Nógrád. The steeple of the church can be clearly seen from the railway station, from where the church can be reached within a short walk. You can also get to the village by bus from Vác.

Kismaros

Concert location: Abbey Church of Cistercian Nuns (Szuttai dűlő)

By car take Road 12 that runs along the northern side of the Danube Bend (from Budapest, first take Road 2 or M2, then, after Vác take Road 12). By train take Budapest—Vác—Szob—Stúrovo line as far as Kismaros. Please note that the parish church of the village situated by the main road is not the concert location. The concert will take place at the modern Cistercian Abbey Church, which is located on the hill of the village and can be seen from a distance. The abbey can be reached with a short-time walk from the railway station.

Magyarkút

Concert location: Children’s Holiday Centre (7 Orgonás Street)

By car take Road 12 that runs along the northern side of the Danube Bend (from Budapest, first take Road 2 or M2, then, after Vác take Road 12) until Verőce, then turn to the Rákóczi Street, then go along until the Vác—Balassagyarmat railway barrier, cross over it, then turn left and go along the Magyarkúti Street. When you reach Magyarkút, go further on the Orgonás Street (which continues the Magyarkúti Street) until the Children’s Holiday Centre. By train from Vác take the Vác—Balassagyarmat line until Magyarkút station (the next station after Magyarkút—Verőce), then go along the Dalos Street until the crossing of Dalos Street and Irmaforrás Street, then turn right and go uphill on the Orgonás Street until the Holiday Centre.

Vác

Concert location: Piarist Church (Szentháromság Square)

By car take Road 2. The city is also connected by ferry to Szentendre Island. By public transport, take either the train or the bus heading for Vác or Szob. The city is on Budapest—Vác—Szob—Stúrovo, Budapest—Veresegyház—Vác or on Balassagyarmat—Vác lines. From the railway station or the bus station you can get to the main square along Széchenyi Street. Piarist Church is 2 minutes from the Main Square on the Köztársaság Street (which starts from the at the side of Dominican Church). From there you will see the two white towers of Piarist Church.

Verőce
